Vanquish Tech recently attended the Keyfactor Partner Enablement Event, held at the Bvlgari Hotel London in partnership with e92plus.

The session focused on a growing challenge for organisations: preparing their cryptographic environments for the post-quantum era.

Cryptography underpins almost every digital interaction, including user logins, transactions, connected devices and the secure exchange of information. However, many organisations still lack a clear understanding of where their cryptographic assets and dependencies exist across the business.

Without that visibility, it becomes significantly more difficult to assess exposure, plan migration activity or respond effectively as new standards and security requirements emerge.

The event highlighted why crypto agility should not be viewed simply as a future technology upgrade. It is an organisation-wide risk and governance issue that requires engagement from security teams, technology leaders and the board.

Organisations that begin identifying their cryptographic assets and developing a transition strategy now will be better placed to manage future change. Those that delay may be forced to respond under greater time, operational and regulatory pressure.
